DC students from all eight wards partnered with local artists to create murals inspired by spring in partnership with the National Cherry Blossom Festival's Student Art Showcase.

Behind it, on the north wall, a 3-D 12-feet by 12-feet metal cherry blossom tree is planned, with about 800 metal blossoms attached to the tree and 600 more blossoms mounted on the wall.
