The Trump administration has escalated its fight with Columbia University, declaring the school doesn’t meet accreditation standards because of its failure to protect Jewish students.

The administration notified the university’s accrediting body that federal agencies had found that the school violated Jewish students’ civil rights.

Columbia University may lose its approval from the US government. Trumps team says the school didnt protect Jewish students properly. If this happens, many students might not get government help to pay fees.
