Aaron Breshears was officially sworn in as Pullman's new police chief on Wednesday after 3 months as acting chief.

Stephen Schomaeker, 30, 313 Hopkins St., appeared on a charge of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony, and the case was continued. He was given a personal-recognizance bond.
