Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is in Delhi to attend the meeting called by AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal called a meeting with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and MLAs who were campaigning in different areas for the Delhi elections.

He also slammed Bajwa over his criticism of law and order in Punjab, and said the situation was better than most of the states

The meeting follows AAP’s big defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections and rising speculation about internal discord within the party’s Punjab unit

Arvind Kejriwal, is currently out on bail in connection with the liquor scam. The Supreme Court imposed certain conditions on his bail.

The AAP lost the assembly elections to the BJP while the AAP’s national convenor faced defeat at the hands of saffron party’s candidate Parvesh Verma in the New Delhi seat.

The AAP had stormed to power in Punjab in 2022 by winning 92 seats in the 117-member House. Following this, Bhagwant Mann was sworned in as the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Arvind Kejriwal has summoned all Punjab MLAs and ministers after AAP's defeat in the Delhi elections. This follows Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa's claim that some AAP MLAs are in touch with Congress.
