The UEFA Conference League last-16 draw is set to take place this week, a day after the conclusion of the play-off phase.

All you need to know about the 54th season of this club competition, the 16th as the Europa League and the first under a new format.

In the Europa League, Manchester United and Tottenham will face one of AZ Alkmaar, Midtjylland, Real Sociedad or Galatasaray in the round of 16. AZ Alkmaar look very likely to progress, leading Galatasaray 4-1, while Sociedad lead Midtjylland 2-1. The structure of the draw means Spurs and United cannot meet until the final.

The clubs that finished in the top eight of the league phase went directly through to the round of 16. They will be joined by the winners of the eight knockout playoff round ties, featuring the clubs placed ninth to 24th,

The draw for the next rounds of the Champions League takes place at 12pm CET (11am GMT) on Friday, 21 February at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland. The draw will be streamed live on Uefa’s website.
