Dennis town officials on Wednesday announced announce the expansion of beach safety measures during the July 4 holiday and weekend. A second police command post will be set up at West Dennis Beach.

West Palm Beach's Public Utilities Department will switch from its current chloramine disinfection process to chlorine disinfection from July 7 to July 28.
