Eleven counties with lighter court caseloads might soon have fewer courts if the Senate adopts Indiana House Bill 1144 and Gov. Mike Braun signs it.

Indiana Senate passed a bill with a new amendment which would remove judges from 11 mostly rural counties, citing caseload statistics.
