The Philadelphia Phillies are not happy about one All-Star Game selection. Zack Wheeler and Kyle Schwarber are still playing in Atlanta. Still, some Phillies feel that there should be more representation, namely Christopher Sánchez and Ranger Suárez, who were passed up for Milwaukee Brewers rookie sensation Jacob Misiorowski.

Misiorowski, who was ranked as the Brewers’ No. 5 prospect by The Athletic ’s Keith Law, made his debut June 12, taking a no-hitter in the fifth inning. His fifth pitch of the game clocked in at 102.2 mph and stands as the hardest-thrown pitch by a Brewers starter in the pitch-tracking era (since 2008).

The Phillies aren’t happy with Jacob Misiorowski’s controversial All-Star Game selection . The Brewers’ hard-throwing rookie was chosen as a replacement for Matthew Boyd after just five starts and 25 2/3 innings, breaking the 2024 record set by Pirates ace Paul Skenes of 11 games.
