The Frontier Motel and the Copper Cactus Inn, both along West Drachman Street, were torn down following the lifting of an injunction that stopped them from doing so, in the Arizona Court of Appeals.

The state court of appeals upheld a ruling by a Pima County Superior Court judge and allowed the college to proceed with the demolition.
