An alligator was spotted underneath shopping carts outside a supermarket in Summerville, South Carolina, on June 25. Video recorded by Lisa Royal shows the area outside Publix taped off from shoppers.

The gator was spotted near the entrance of the grocery store before officials with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) were called to the scene.
