A car show in Vancouver removed Tesla Inc. as an exhibitor, citing safety concerns following a spate of vandalism against the electric vehicle company in apparent backlash to Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk’s role in the Trump administration.

Tesla’s display at this week’s Vancouver International Auto Show was removed by event organizers because of safety issues revolving around the Elon Musk-led company.

The recent wave of attacks on Tesla cars and showrooms continues to have a negative effect on the automaker’s business. The organizers of this month’s Vancouver Auto Show announced yesterday that they were booting the EV brand from the lineup due to security concerns.
