Nigel Farage has said Reform UK candidates for local elections in 2025 will be "vetted" following controversial comments during the General Election. The party leader referred to Bexhill and Battle's Ian Gribbon who said Britain would be "far better" if it had "taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality" instead of fighting the Nazis.

Nigel Farage's party is supposed to represent British patriots and yet, like so many others, it seems intent on imitating another country.

Nigel Farage says that Reform UK can win the 2029 general election in what he calls a 'once in a century event'.

Speaking ahead of his party's conference in Birmingham, he said Reform could "win a lot of seats" in Cardiff Bay in 2026. The party does not currently have any Members of the Senedd (MSs). However, Reform hopes to capitalise on the more proportional voting system that will be in place for the next election to the Welsh Parliament.

The former Brexit Party leader said he would be giving up his majority shareholder position in Reform UK Ltd, which is a registered company, unlike most other political parties
