Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd gave a timeline for when he expects Anthony Davis to make his debut and what position he's playing

Center Anthony Davis was traded to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night in a deal that sent guard Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. Davis has yet to make his Mavericks debut as he's been dealing with an abdominal muscle strain and hasn't played since Jan. 28.

Early Sunday morning, ESPN's Shams Charania revealed that the Mavericks were sending Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis. This deal now pairs Doncic with LeBron James and Davis with Kyrie Irving.
