Tennessee baseball will not repeat as College World Series champions after losing to Arkansas in two games in the Fayetteville Super Regional.

No. 3 national seed Arkansas (48-13) defeated No. 14 national seed Tennessee (46-19), 11-4, Sunday in the Fayetteville Regional of the 2025 NCAA Tournament at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Arkansas left-hander Zach Root threw 7 innings of 1-hit baseball and the Razorbacks took a 1-0 lead at the NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional with a 4-3 victory over Tennessee on Saturday at Baum-Walker Stadium.
