Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t thrilled about friend Emma Stone's drastic hair change for her role in Bugonia. “I really didn’t want her to shave her head,” the Hunger Games star, 34, told Vogue in an interview published on Monday1.

Stone herself is a different story. Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence are close enough that they share their real opinions, like the fact that Lawrence didn't want Stone to drastically change her appearance for her upcoming movie, Bugonia, her latest collaboration with director Yorgos Lanthimos.

“I really didn’t want her to shave her head,” Lawrence, 34, admitted to the publication in an email. “I had already lived through the Billie Jean King haircut.” For her portrayal of the tennis champion in the 2017 sports comedy Battle of the Sexes, Stone sported a wig cut in a modern 1970s shag.
