CHICAGO -- The first WNBA game at the United Center got off to an unfortunate start when Chicago Sky point guard and franchise icon Courtney Vandersloot went down with a knee injury just minutes into the team's matchup with the Indiana Fever .

Chicago Sky veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot exited Saturday night's home game against the Indiana Fever in the first quarter and will not return because of a knee injury, the Sky announced.
