Dan Gilroy will pen the script from an earlier draft by Eric Warren Singer, with Dylan Clark producing the Universal feature.

Miami Vice is getting a new film adaptation with a script by Dan Gilroy and Joseph Kosinski directing (already an excellent sign).

Joseph Kosinski (“F1,” “Top Gun: Maverick”) is set to direct and produce an adaptation of “Miami Vice” for Universal Pictures.
