In newly filed court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Navarro, 58 — alongside fellow bandmates Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins — claim Farrell, 66, launched what they describe as a "brutal and unprovoked" attack during a mid-show incident in Boston in September 2024.

According to Deadline, Navarro, 58, the band’s guitarist, bassist Eric Avery and drummer Stephen Perkins sued Farrell for $10 million Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The lawsuit accuses Farrell of a “brutal and unprovoked” onstage attack on Navarro.

The incident, which took place at the Leader Bank Pavilion, happened about two-thirds of the way through the band’s reunion tour of the U.S. and Canada, which was its first with the band’s full lineup: Farrell, Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery.
