Drake claims he was defamed by Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show, and at the Grammy Awards, where over 100 million combined television viewers heard Lamar’s notorious diss track “Not Like Us,” according to court filings.

Drake and his legal team have promptly fired back at Universal Music Group after the music giant warned him he should be “careful” what he asks for. Drake is claiming Kendrick Lamar’s Grammys success and Super Bowl performance further damaged his reputation.

Drake has filed an amended complaint in his defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” stating that the label used Lamar’s wins at the Grammy Awards and performance of the song during the Super Bowl Halftime Show to further promote the single and damage his reputation.
