The Boston Celtics are going to be one of the teams in the NBA that make a lot of changes in the offseason. They are going to try to shed a lot of salary, so that means changing at least two starters.

This differs from reports earlier that the Celtics might need to attach draft assets to get off of Holiday's considerable remaining salary.

A first-round pick could be the price to acquire Jrue Holiday from the Celtics. The veteran point guard has been in the middle of trade rumors recently, and the team’s front office is looking for a first-rounder in return, plus “whatever reduced salary comes back in the deal,” per Hardwood Paroxysm.
