Turner, like her son, was found guilty by a federal jury of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud in April. At the time, both Kingston and Turner were facing up to 20 years on each count.

Sean Kingston will spend three and a half years behind bars after being convicted of a $1 million fraud scheme. The 35-year-old singer, born Kisean Paul Anderson, was found guilty in March alongside his mother, Janice Turner, who received a five-year sentence last month.
