A large chunk of the middle part of the country will see wet, potentially stormy weather as a system moves through the Plains.

Saturday’s forecast is looking better. We’ll have a lot of clouds but hopefully some sunshine is able to mix in. The rain stays mostly south of the region but may clip a few of our far southern counties through the morning hours.

Temperatures will be spilt across the country over the holiday weekend with cool temperatures in the Northeast and Midwest and warm temperatures across the western and southern U.S. Meanwhile, rounds of severe weather and heavy rain are expected across the Plains and parts of the South.
