The head of the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency said Monday that there is a possibility of both radiological and chemical contamination within Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facility in Natanz following Israeli strikes,

Israel said it targeted Iran's oldest current enrichment site, Natanz, in its strikes. The site, secretly set up in 2002 but discovered soon after that, contains an underground fuel enrichment plant and a separate pilot fuel enrichment plant.

The IAEA later confirmed that while external radiation levels around Natanz had not increased, internal contamination was detected.
