The New York Jets' Sauce Gardner recently became the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history. Some have pointed out Gardner did so coming off his worst year as a pro, critiques that neither surprise or affect the fourth-year star.

Wilson agreed to terms on a four-year, $130 million contract extension last Monday and officially signed the deal four days later. Gardner agreed to his four-year, $120.4 million extension last Tuesday and signed it after showing up at the facility a week later with the rest of his teammates.
