A lucky Powerball player drew inspiration for his numbers from a recent golf round and won big in Maryland, lottery officials said. The Calvert County man won $151,210 in the Dec. 21 drawing, the Maryland Lottery said in a Dec. 27 news release.

The winning numbers in Wednesday evening’s drawing of the "Powerball" game were: 15-26-27-30-35, Powerball: 3 (fifteen, twenty-six, twenty-seven, thirty, thirty-five, Powerball: three, Power Play: three)

The Powerball jackpot increased again after it remained unclaimed, but one lucky person won a couple million on Christmas.

The Powerball jackpot has not been hit since Dec. 7, when a New York player won the $256 million grand prize, lottery officials said. To score a jackpot in the Powerball, a player must match all five white balls and the red Powerball. The odds of scoring the jackpot prize are 1 in 292,201,338.
