Jasson Domínguez homered in the bottom of the ninth inning to rally the New York Yankees a 4-3 win over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday night. Jake Burger hit two solo homers and Sam Haggerty added a solo shot in the seventh inning to give the Rangers a 3-1 lead.

Speaking of deGrom, he gave up a leadoff triple to Anthony Volpe on a ball that was nearly caught by Sam Haggerty in center. DJ LeMahieu hit a ground ball to second base that scored him two batters later for a 1-0 lead in the second. That triple was the last Yankees hit for a while.

If the game ends up postponed, it could create a real scheduling bind for the teams as this is the Rangers’ only scheduled trip to Yankee Stadium. The obvious choice for rescheduling would be Sept. 11, an off day for the Rangers ahead of a series at the New York Mets, but the Yankees are scheduled to play that day against Detroit.
