Dallas Stars No. 1 defenseman Miro Heiskanen hasn't played in an NHL game since Jan. 28. He suffered a knee injury after colliding with Vegas Golden Knights forward Mark Stone in the third period.

Heiskanen (knee) has been ruled out for Game 1 of the Stars ' first-round series against the Avalanche but could return later in the series, Sean Shapiro of DLLS Sports reports.
