Five soldiers shot Wednesday at Fort Stewart, an Army base in south Georgia, were expected to survive, officials said.

One person was hospitalized with burns on their arm following a fire on Aug. 6 near Gilbert Road and Chandler Boulevard. The cause of the fire is unknown.
