Mar 29, 2009 · the Novara Buzz Flyby by Dahon is an 8 speed i was just at REI yesterday buying some stuff as the 20% expires soon. I loved the 8 speed Nexus hub on it i took it for a test drive in the parking lot just to try it out it the whole bike wasnt heavy at all felt about the same weight as my 27lbs[12kg] 1968 Raleigh Twenty Shopper

I have been eyeing the Novara Big Buzz for a while. It's currently on sale for $518, normal price $800. I am not familiar with the quality of components. I was wondering if anybody would be able to look at the specs of the bike? Share any thoughts please. I will probably head up to REI tonight and give it a test ride or possibly purchase.

Just saw a Novara Buzz at the local REI store. I like that it's basically a bomber bike....however, $799 for a bomber bike sounds a little much to pay. Aluminum fork I believe. Can anyone suggest a similar bike that I could look at? The bike will be used for commuting mostly with the option of getting on some gravel occassionally. Thanks!

The last bike that I really liked was the Masi Soulville SS, but at $700, it was simply too much for not a lot more bike. So, that brings me to my selection of the Buzz One. The $399 price tag was on the bottom end of all the bikes I had considered and that is before the 20% off coupon that REI currently has which is good on Novara bikes.

Jun 23, 2009 · Novara Buzz V Just ordered my new dedicated commuter online. Haven't bike commuted in about a month and a half, since I rode my last rig (commuterized '00 Mongoose S-20 hardtail) into the ground after Pedal Pittsburgh.

I visited the local stores including a nearby REI and test rode several bikes and each store had a bike that I liked. Among those that I liked at ~$500 are a Trek FX 7.1 at $479, a 2013 GT Transeo 3.0 which may be on sale soon $540 and the Novara Buzz …

AWOL is a better buy and a better bike all around. Specialized bikes tend to hold their value if you decide to sell it. I find that the better the components are, the easier they are to set up and stay that way. They don't wear as fast so you are not replacing parts as …
