However, it seems to be very slow to build, and requires its own research, I was just wondering if people are using it, and if so, is it worth the hassle? I still wouldn't recommend it, but its there, and notable for early melee units. 2) plate armor has much higher hp with certain materials. Plasteel plate armor has ~800hp, meaning it will need to be replaced much less.

I have come to liking light armour for the perk and Im trying to be sneaky sneaky stabby stealy lol Until the stealth system is fixed, I'm enjoying full plate. And boy does full plate make you feel like a total badass Take the "stuffing" perk under Maintenance and you can stealth just fine in plate armor.

Sep 18, 2019 · The armour stats in the wiki shows more favour to the Flak set (vest, jacket, and pants) than just the Plate armour in terms of sharp defense, but I keep finding older post about how useless or low opinion of flaks are and pretty much nothing on plate other than being competitive to marine armour.
