Apr 18, 2006 · there should be a clip that goes around the stub axle holding the lockout. .25 is about normal to move in and out. the axle shaft isnt going anywhere so .25 either way should be ok.

Oct 4, 2006 · Nothing wrong with the W56. You won't likely be breaking the input from the tranny to the t-case anyway. Its the second case that sometimes has problems with broken inputs because the t-case in front of it doubles the torque (and then some), so that is where the 23-spline input is desirable.
