I used to do tiktok back in 2021, I amassed a few thousand followers but being 13 at the time I got bored and demotivated and quit. Back then I always received positive comments on my videos, there were some trolls here and there but majority wholesome comments supporting me.

This makes a huge difference in what you see later even if it seems like a tiny thing. So then, if you search something like "rainbow" on TikTok, you're going to see a bunch of things about rainbows later.

Assuming ByteDance doesn't sell TikTok, the app will be gone from app stores. There may be a way to sideload it from overseas app stores, and it may be available on the web. Technically it's not meant to be accessible on the web, but I'm not sure if they'll go so far as implementing the Great American Firewall and have ISPs start blocking the site.
